The art of eight limbs. Authentic Muay Thai technique taught for fitness, self-defense, and competitive development.
Muay Thai is Thailand's national combat sport — a striking art that uses fists, elbows, knees, and kicks to create one of the most complete and effective striking systems in the world. Known as the "art of eight limbs," it develops real-world striking power, devastating clinch control, and elite-level cardiovascular conditioning.
At Haven, we teach authentic Muay Thai rooted in traditional technique while making it accessible to people at every level. Whether your goal is getting in the best shape of your life, developing practical self-defense skills, or competing — this program delivers.
Classes cover the full striking arsenal: jabs, crosses, hooks, uppercuts, body kicks, teeps, roundhouse kicks, elbows in the clinch, and knee strikes. Every session is high-energy, coached closely, and structured to produce real improvement in technique and conditioning over time.
Every element of Muay Thai is covered systematically — from your first jab to advanced clinch entries.
Stance, footwork, guard, and the core strikes of Muay Thai — jab, cross, hook, uppercut, roundhouse kick, teep (push kick), and body kick. We build technique correctly from the beginning so you don't have bad habits to unlearn later.
The clinch is what separates Muay Thai from other striking arts. You'll learn the plum (neck tie), off-balancing techniques, and how to land devastating knee strikes and elbows from close range — skills that are both practical and deeply technical.
Pad work is the heartbeat of Muay Thai training. You'll work in pairs with focus mitts and Thai pads, developing timing, power, and accuracy through dynamic combinations called by a partner or coach. It's demanding, effective, and genuinely fun.
Muay Thai conditioning is legendary for a reason. Our classes include structured rounds that build the explosive endurance required for striking. You'll develop cardio, core strength, and mental toughness — all as a natural byproduct of the training, not an add-on.
Offense wins matches, but defense keeps you in them. We cover parries, blocks, slips, catches, and the all-important teep for range management. Good defense is the foundation of effective counter-striking and is emphasized throughout the curriculum.
